Minteller is running as a pilot

A small group of organisations and specialists using it for real work, and telling us what to change. Here is what that involves.

What the pilot is

Minteller is being used for real work by a small group of organisations and independent specialists before it opens more widely. The pilot exists to answer one question: can project people find the right specialist, with the right capability, at the moment they are genuinely available.

It runs for a limited period. We will tell you well before anything changes, and nothing you have put into Minteller is removed when the pilot ends.

Who it is for

  • Organisations that need engineering specialists for project work and want to find them faster.
  • Independent contractors and specialists who want to be found when they are actually free.

We are working with about 5 organisations and 50 specialists. Small on purpose: every person taking part is someone we can listen to.

What is included

  • Contractor profiles, search and saved lists.
  • Availability that contractors keep up to date, week by week.
  • Direct messages and video calls.
  • Workspaces with files, previews, version history and chat.
  • Two-step verification and a view of your signed-in devices.

Nothing in the pilot costs anything. Nobody is asked for a card, and nothing is charged.

What is not in the pilot yet

Some of what Minteller is building needs a mobile app that does not exist yet:

  • Scan rooms and objects with a supported phone with LiDAR
  • Attach scans to a Minteller workspace
  • Place and review 3D models in augmented reality
  • View captured spaces immersively

This needs a future Minteller mobile app and is not available during the pilot. Google Calendar sync is also still to come. Where you meet one of these in the product it is marked as coming soon, and you can tell us you are interested.

How feedback works

Tell us what helped, what got in the way, and what you expected to find. Every message is read by a person on the Minteller team. Now and then we may ask one short question in the product, such as whether a conversation led to work. Answering is optional, and nobody in the conversation sees your answer.

How your data is handled

Your data is used to run Minteller and to understand whether the pilot is working. We count things like searches, profile views and first messages. We do not record what you type in a search or a message for that purpose, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Files are stored encrypted, in Ireland, and scanned for malware. The full detail is in the privacy notice, the security overview and the pilot terms.

How to get access

During the pilot, access is by invitation. You need a pilot code or an invitation link from the Minteller team. If you have one, start here. If you would like to take part and do not have one, email us.
