Getting started
What is Minteller?
A professional directory and collaboration platform. Organisations search detailed specialist profiles, contact the people they choose, and work with them as a team in a workspace. Minteller does not select, recommend or put forward anyone; the client decides who to work with.
How do I join?
Choose your role on the join page — contractor or client — and create an account in under a minute.
What is a workspace?
A lightweight cloud project space where a client brings contractors together into a single dynamic team.
For independent specialists.
Contractors
How do I get found?
Build a complete profile, set your availability and publish. Published profiles appear in client search. Results are listed with the most recently updated first; Minteller does not rank or recommend anyone.
Do I pay commission?
No. Contractors use Minteller for free, and Minteller never takes a cut of what you earn. The money you earn is yours.
Who can see my profile?
Only signed-in client organisations taking part in Minteller. It is not public on the web, and other contractors cannot see it.
How does availability work?
Mark yourself Available, Limited or Unavailable and block out days up to 90 days ahead. Clients see this before contacting you.
For businesses and project teams.
Clients
How do I find a specialist?
Search and filter by discipline, location, sector and availability, then open profiles to shortlist. You choose who to contact.
How do I start a project team?
Create a workspace, invite your chosen specialists with role titles, and collaborate once they accept.
Is there a commission?
No. Minteller never charges a commission or a placement fee.
For seat-based team access.
Organisations
How do seats work?
Each person in your organisation uses a seat, and a pending invite holds one until it is accepted or runs out. Your pilot sets how many seats you have; ask the Minteller team if you need more.
Do seats cost anything?
Not during the pilot. Minteller is free during the pilot for everyone, companies and contractors alike. Nobody is asked for a card and nothing turns into a paid plan on its own. If paid plans come later, you will be asked to choose one.
Subscriptions, invoices and changes.
Billing
Will I be charged?
Minteller is free during the pilot for everyone, companies and contractors alike. Nobody is asked for a card and nothing turns into a paid plan on its own. If paid plans come later, you will be asked to choose one.
Do I need a payment card?
No. Nobody is asked for a card during the pilot.
Minteller is running as a pilot with a small group of organisations and contractors.
The pilot
What is the pilot?
A limited period in which a small number of organisations and contractors use Minteller for real work, tell us what helps and what gets in the way, and shape what comes next. The full picture is on the pilot page.
How do I get access?
During the pilot, access is by invitation. You need a pilot code or an invitation link from the Minteller team.
Does it cost anything?
No. Nobody is asked for a card during the pilot, nothing is charged, and nothing turns into a paid plan on its own.
How we keep work high-trust.
Trust & safety
Does Minteller check contractors?
Minteller confirms the email address of every account. Everything else on a profile is provided by the contractor and is not checked by Minteller. Before you engage anyone, make the checks your engagement needs, such as qualifications, professional memberships and insurance.
How is my data handled?
Your data is used to operate the platform and is never sold. Conversations stay between you and the other party.
How do I report a problem?
Email the team and a human will respond — see the contact below.
