Minteller

Acceptable Use Policy

What this covers

This policy applies to everything you do on Minteller and to everything you upload, send or publish. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Do not misrepresent yourself

Do not claim qualifications, accreditations, security clearances or experience you do not have. Contractor profiles are the basis on which clients decide who to trust with engineering work, and a false one puts real projects and real people at risk.

Do not impersonate anyone, create an account for someone else without their authority, or pretend to represent an organisation you have nothing to do with.

Do not upload what you have no right to upload

Do not upload material you do not own or have permission to share. That includes another client's drawings, a former employer's models, and anything covered by a confidentiality obligation you are under.

Take particular care with material that is export-controlled, subject to a security classification, or covered by flow-down obligations from a customer. Satisfy yourself that uploading it is permitted before you do, not after.

Do not harm others

No harassment, threats, discrimination or abuse. No content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Do not misuse the platform

Do not attempt to access accounts, workspaces or files that are not yours. Do not probe, scan or test our security without written permission — if you want to report a vulnerability, email security@minteller.com and we will work with you.

Do not scrape contractor profiles or use the platform to build a competing directory. Do not use automated tools to send bulk messages.

Do not upload malware, or files designed to disrupt other people's systems.

Do not use Minteller to advertise unrelated goods or services, or to recruit users onto another platform.

Do not use it to route around the point of it

Minteller charges client organisations for seats and takes no commission on work. Do not create accounts to evade seat limits, share a single account between several people, or use invitations to give access to people outside your organisation.

Reporting

If you see something that breaches this policy, report it to support@minteller.com. Tell us what you saw and where, and we will look at it.

What happens if you breach it

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn you, suspend your account, or close it. Where the breach is serious — falsified clearances, unauthorised access, uploading material you had no right to hold — we may act immediately and without warning, and we may be obliged to notify others.

We will tell you what we have done and why, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
